Bishop Fenwick at Archbishop McNicholas varsity football - 2014 Homecoming

This weekend I shot the Bishop Fenwick at Archbishop McNicholas varsity football game.  It was a nice day, and a nice crowd, for the McNicholas Homecoming game.  I shot the game to upload to MaxPreps.  The gallery of photos can also be seen on my smugmug portfolio page at: http://jasonlemmond.smugmug.com/Event-Galleries/HIgh-School-Football/2014-High-School-Football/Bishop-Fenwick-Archbishop-McNi/  I really enjoy shooting high school football.  Even more so when it is a day game with nice lighting.  McNicholas won the game 14-13.  The game came down to a missed PAT by Fenwick with 1:39 remaining in the game.

Rolling through Kentucky

With not much happening today, we set out in search of trains.  The first train we came across was one that is not very common in our area.  We see CSX and Norfolk Southern engines almost everyday.  Today we cam across this BNSF engine coupled with two CSX engines.  Nice to have something different to photograph every once in a while.

Covington Catholic at Beechwood Varsity Baseball

Covington Catholic Colonels visited the Beechwood Tigers on April 24, 2013.  Ben Heppler pitched a complete game leading CovCath to a 4-2 win over the Tigers.  Here are a few photos from today's game.  Today in HDR...

Conner at CovCath Varsity Baseball

Covington Catholic hosted the Conner Cougars on April 10, 2013.  Conner prevailed, winning the game 10-7.  Leading the Cougars offensively was Cameron Fogle (22).  Fogle went 2-2, with 2 home runs, for 4 rbi's.

CovCath at Dixie Heights Varsity Baseball

On April 8th, I was able to catch the baseball game between the Covington Catholic Colonels, and the Dixie Heights Colonels.  he game was played at Dixie Heights High School.  Covington Catholic won the game 7-6.  Below are a few shots from the game.

Covington Catholic vs Simon Kenton

A few shots from Covington Catholic varsity basketball game vs. Simon Kenton. The game was played at Covington Catholic High School in Park Hills, KY.  Covington Catholic won 54-49.

Stetson University Women's Basketball

 Here are a few shots from the women's game.  Stetson led the majority of the game.  Down the stretch Northern Kentucky University clawed its way back into the game.  NKU took the lead for good with Kayla Thacker's 3-pointer with 20 seconds left in the game.
